This is an old revision of the document!

The following are mostly recipes from my mother and my wife. The rest are some things that I picked up while doing the cooking after CC became ill, and from other family members. CC wanted to compile her favorites in a booklet form but never got around to it, so this is a gift to her.

This collection is intended for the family, and is not a comprehensive recipe collection. It is only family favorites and some local classics that I have included thus far, with the hope that my cousins, children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews and friends will add theirs. Anything from “Maw Maw” would be most appreciated. Add to the repertoire, particularly those “pot cooking ” recipes that involve slow cooking.

More recipes will be entered as I find them or remember them. There is no rational order to the items included, since I do not know enough about operating this infernal machine to move them around. Depend upon serendipity. Anyone who is a computer geek should organize, alphabetize and make this thing easily accessible. Feel free to add recipes or comments and corrections. Grandson Josh Considine has put this web site together (and shows promise as a good cook).

Les Cambias, for CC, who loved feeding her family with style, and my Mother, Margaret Bartholomew Cambias - a superb intuitive cook.
