Cambias Cooking
Here is a collection of recipes from a New Orleans family, now in diaspora. Some are old family recipes and others are more recently acquired, but all of them were well tested favorites. They are mostly dishes that were cooked by my mother and my wife, CC. The rest are some things that I picked up while doing the cooking after CC became ill. She wanted to compile her favorites in a booklet form, but never got around to it.
This collection is intended for the family, and is not a comprehensive recipe collection. It is only family favorites and some local classics that I have included thus far. I hope my children and grandchildren will add theirs.
More recipes will be added as I find them or remember them. There is no rational order to the items included, since I do not know enough about operating this infernal machine to move them around. Depend upon serendipity.
